The KVIE Art Auction will take place this coming weekend. It will kick off on Friday October 4  (7pm – 10pm) and continue on Saturday 5 (noon – 10pm) and Sunday 6 (noon – 10pm).

My piece will be on the block on Sunday evening during the 9 – 9:30pm time slot. It’s titled Examination of a Dream, and is a framed painting on paper. The non-objective ground (including the color chart) was done by Laureen Landau, a friend and noted artist.

After her passing, I was given a couple sheets to “finish,” and they both appeared in a remembrance show titled The Last Collaboration of Laureen Landau, at the Archival Gallery in 2013. For this piece, i added the lamp and reworked the ground.
